Brian Gilman

Chief Executive Officer

Brian Gilman is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience leading innovation at the intersection of life sciences, cloud computing, and AI. As a three-time founder with successful exits, Brian has built and scaled software platforms that accelerate drug discovery and scientific research, partnering with top pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies worldwide.

Douglas Selinger

Chief Scientific Officer & Founder

As an early pioneer of microarray technology, Doug authored some of the first publications describing experimental and computational approaches for large scale transcriptional analyses. After completing his Ph.D. in George Church's lab at Harvard, he joined the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research where his 14-year career spanned the entire drug discovery pipeline. In 2017, Doug founded Plex Research to develop a novel form of AI based on search engine algorithms.

Timothy Wall

Chief Architect

Tim has over 20 years of computing and cloud security expertise. In his most recent role as the Chief Architect of CloudLock, Tim was responsible for building a scalable cloud security platform. CloudLock was acquired by Cisco for $300M in 2016. Tim has a Sc.B. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.

Jed Gaetz

Principal Scientist

Prior to joining Plex Research, Jed worked in R&D at Sema4 (now GeneDX). As part of their Cancer and Pharma Knowledgebase team, Jed contributed to precision oncology reporting and clinical trial matching. Jed received his PhD from Rockefeller University in cell biology.

Ehab Khalil

Principal Scientist

Ehab is a seasoned medicinal chemist with over 14 years of experience in drug discovery from several biopharmaceutical companies, including Johnson & Johnson and Celgene. His contributions to lead discovery and optimization have resulted in several clinical candidates in oncology.

Eleni Stylianou

Principal Scientist

Eleni is a molecular cell biologist with more than two decades of independent biomedical research experience. She was a Principal Investigator at the Lerner Research Institute, Cleveland Clinic. At Plex, her focus is on translating AI-driven analyses into actionable strategies to expedite drug discovery.

Oren Levy

Biology Consultant

Oren is a cell biologist and bioengineer. He worked at the Wyss Institute at Harvard Medical School, leveraging Organ-on-Chip systems for human disease modeling and drug discovery. He served as an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
